Regular jointed lures tend to lose their flight posture in strong headwinds or crosswinds, which can cause problems with casting accuracy. In particular, the lure rotates, reducing the accuracy of pinpoint targeting and affecting casting distance. Shimano has therefore developed Arma Boost as a unique mechanism. It is particular about the silhouette as well as the bait-like action that is unique to jointed lures. It is recommended for early spring micro bait patterns.
